Felistus Kandia

Felistus Kandia is a strategy, research and policy professional with experience across the private, public and non-governmental sectors. She currently serves as Commercial Director at Ongole Group, where she supports strategic planning, market intelligence and stakeholder engagement in agribusiness.

She is a published writer and policy commentator who has written for Business Daily Africa and other outlets on East African trade, regional integration, market access, industrialization, agribusiness value chains and sustainable food systems. Her recent work addresses premium beef markets, climate-resilient livestock production, pesticide safety, farmer well-being and the policy conditions that enable enterprise growth.

Felistus holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics from the Capital University of Economics and Business and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance Management Services from JKUAT. As the KLF Board Treasurer, she brings a cross-sector perspective on youth enterprise development, regional value chains and sustainable agribusiness. Her contribution combines economic analysis with practical strategy, policy insight and clear public communication.
